The deal was signed between the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and India’s Technology Information, Forecasting, and Assessment Council (TIFAC).

It will assist the work of the International Transport Forum (ITF) in the Indian transport sector.

According to the official release, the deal was signed on July 6, 2022.

The major goal of this contract will be new activities such as new scientific results and the identification of technology for decarburization of the transportation industry.

Through scientific contact, they will also contribute to new policy insights and capacity building.

PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron also talked about the ongoing bilateral collaboration between India and France under the India-France Strategic Partnership.
